The ‘Lapdance’ hitmakers – who formed after initially producing tracks
for other artists – revealed they felt women were the “sweetest spot”
for them to concentrate on when penning material for new record
‘Nothing’.
The rapper-and-producer – whose first hit ‘Crank That (Soulja Boy)’ stayed at number one on the Billboard Top 100 for seven weeks – insists he was unsure about the quality of the tracks for his third studio album ‘Dre’ until he was praised by some fellow musicians. 
The British rapper – who emerged onto the pop scene from a background of underground raves and pirate radio station appearances – admits his opinions about pop music have changed as he has progressed in his career, and believes it is not easy to make a catchy song.
The 'Paper Planes' hitmaker - who collaborated with the hip hop star
when he remixed a version of her 'XXXO' track last month - would like
to return the favour, and thinks she has the "perfect song" to entice
the rapper. She told MTV News: "I really want to produce for him. I
have got the perfect song for Jay-Z! In fact, that's the best one that
I had for my album which never made it. It was the first song I was
really into and the song that actually made my album go in the
direction it did, but it never actually made the album. I want to give
it to Jay-Z because I think it suits him more."
