Many girls would kill to be a superstar or better yet be signed to Jay Z’s Roc Nation label and sadly many girls aren’t Rita Ora (sigh). Rita Sahatçiu Ora (born 26 November 1990), better known as Rita Ora, is a British singer-songwriter who is currently the talk of the town. The young star was signed to Jay Z’s Roc Nation at the age of 18 and has now been given the spotlight to showcase her talent.
Rita Ora’s current joints such as “R.I.P” (which topped the UK Singles Chart in May 2012), where she features hip hop superstar Tinie Tempah, has been shooting the young artist to stardom and in 2012 she was the reason why DJ Fresh’s “Hot Right Now” became such a hit, as she provided her vocals to the track and the hit has since been the fastest selling single in the UK.
Throughout 2011, Ora released viral videos of herself working on her debut album. She has been recording her first studio album for two years and will.i.am, Ester Dean, Drake, The-Dream, Kanye West and Stargate are all working with Ora on her debut album. Being compared to Rihanna, Rita Ora definitely has what it takes to be a superstar. Star in the making? No doubt (all eyes on Rita).
