MTV VMA Recap: See What Kendrick, Kanye And Big Sean Won This Year

No Comments Uncategorized

The 2015 VMA’s kicked off last night at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, and hip hop got a good slice of the cake. After the release of his new album Dark Sky Paradise, our cover boy Big Sean scooped Best Video with a Social Message for his single ‘One Man Can Change The World’. Kendrick Lamar won Best Hip Hop video for his ‘Alright’ joint.

And of course, Mr Yeezus himself also got a slice of the cake and received the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard. And during his acceptance speech, Kanye gave us a jaw dropping moment and stated that in 2020, he will be running for president. “I will die for art and for what I believe in” he said. Yeezy has received a BET Honorary Award, which bares the question. Do you think he has what it takes?
