Don’t confuse the topic: the best rappers aren’t always the most influential. And when it comes to style, it takes more than just having a couple of pairs of Jays to be considered a style god. When it comes down to it, it’s more about the kids than it is about personal style. Here is HYPE’s official list of the top 10 hip hop artists who are impacting style aesthetically.

Although relatively a newbie, Yanga’s natural aura is on a hundred thousand. Often seen keeping it simple with the Kriss Kross-esque hairstyle, two-piece ensembles, baseball jerseys, khakis and other mild tones, vintage Vans and Nike Cortez, Yanga has carved out a sweet spot for himself among the effortlessly coolest in the game; something like a skinny Dom Kennedy or a slightly darker Curren$y. The impact is already evident in his social media following, multiple publications scrambling to get him in their books, and brands throwing clothes at him.
