The Best Producer category will be awarded in recognition for excellence in the composition of hip hop instrumentals and recording, and can be awarded to composers of original instrumentals, composers of cleared sampled instrumentals as well as engineers. This category will be determined by a panel of qualified judges based on a producer’s body of work released to the public during the eligibility period.
